Narrative Design

Robyn went to college to follow in her parents’ footsteps. With an archaeologist father and an art historian mother, she was so excited to learn about the world her mother loved, to carry on her work in restoring stolen art. But she didn’t know the extent of contested history. The overwhelming weight of stolen history jaded her education, and she returned to her empty home, not knowing what else to do.

Luckily, there was Ava. Ava was always a troublesome kid, but it was nice to have a friend. She offered to teach Robyn, no strings attached. And she never condoned stealing, but Ava understood where she was coming from. She introduced Robyn to people who knew some people who felt the same way.

It’s not stealing if you’re trying to return something to where it belongs. Right?

Restoration is an original video game concept inspired by the stealth mechanics of Thief and the character motivations of Robin Hood and Nico Robin (One Piece) combined.

Creative Writing Samples

Tell me something. A story, anything. Introduce me to a world I’ve never considered before. Someone in love, in pain, in anything. Someone vastly different than me. Teach me something I thought I knew, just by looking at you. In the galaxies in your eyes, let me figure out the truth in your lies, unraveling your carefully crafted disguise, and just let me know something. Anything. Recommend books, something I can dive into. Forget my reality and live in someone else’s skin. Let me fly above the clouds and never come down. Craving a high I need to explore, dreams piling on top of each other—each more impossible than the next. A knowing weight on my chest, unable to put the dreams to rest so I’m left awake, gazing at stars I’ll never be able to taste.

I try to match my breath with yours to ease my anxiety. Can’t last one night in reality without another hit of something I haven’t thought of yet. So, think of something. Anything.

Let me escape in it.

IP & Brand Voice

Working with intellectual property means listening first. It’s knowing what fits and what pushes too far, and how to write something new without losing what already matters. Whether it's staying true to a character's voice, building on established lore, or helping a brand sound like itself on a different day, this kind of writing is less about invention and more about alignment.

These samples show how I adapt tone, extend narrative threads, and build trust with readers who already know the rules.

Game Writing

Learning interactive writing requires you to envelop yourself in a world, either one you’ve built or one you’ve been granted a visa to. You have to learn the governing laws, adapt to new environments, and breathe what the characters breathe. You have to understand why people choose games and the elements that attract different types of gamers. “A world you could live in, or just one for pretend. When you need something there. When you need something that makes sense.”

This is a sample of my experience with branching dialogue, genre-based writing, player choice, and bark sheets.
