Tell me something. A story, anything. Introduce me to a world I’ve never considered before. Someone in love, in pain, in anything. Someone vastly different than me. Teach me something I thought I knew, just by looking at you. In the galaxies in your eyes, let me figure out the truth in your lies, unraveling your carefully crafted disguise, and just let me know something. Anything. Recommend books, something I can dive into. Forget my reality and live in someone else’s skin. Let me fly above the clouds and never come down. Craving a high I need to explore, dreams piling on top of each other—each more impossible than the next. A knowing weight on my chest, unable to put the dreams to rest so I’m left awake, gazing at stars I’ll never be able to taste.

I try to match my breath with yours to ease my anxiety. Can’t last one night in reality without another hit of something I haven’t thought of yet. So, think of something. Anything.
